About the Home
The Returning Citizens Support Group (RCSG) Restorative Justice Healing Home will open its doors in December 2025 to provide housing and holistic support for men over the age of 50 who are returning home from the carceral system and lack community or family support.
Located in a one-family home setting, the Healing Home will offer a safe, restorative environment where residents can rebuild their lives through healing, stability, and community connection.

The RCSG Restorative Justice Healing Home is more than just housing. It’s a pathway to healing and reintegration. Our goal is to:

House Highlights
Capacity: 8 residents, including a live-in Residential Assistant (RA) overseeing daily operations and providing case management support.

Supportive Services
Residents will receive comprehensive support to meet essential reentry needs, including:

ï‚· Assistance obtaining identification documents (birth certificates, state IDs, social security cards, driver’s licenses)

Access to legal assistance through partners such as Seton Hall Legal Clinic and Rutgers Legal Clinic offering assistance with:

Outstanding fines, restoration of driving privileges, child support arrears, and record expungement.​
